About the Project
The Exchange Street at Burville Road Intersection Improvements is a Phase I Engineering and Environmental Study. The improvements would address traffic operation and safety issues at the intersection through a signalized or roundabout design. Multiple alternatives are being analyzed based on their traffic operations, safety, environmental and right-of-way impacts, and public feedback. Located in southeast Will County, IL, near the Illinois/Indiana border, the intersection is near the Village of Crete.

During Phase I, issues and concerns are identified, alternatives and any associated impacts are developed, and public comment is collected to help develop a preferred alternative.
